The contact owns a 2023 BMW F750 GS. The contact stated that the rear brake light failed to engage while riding and using the front brake lever. The motorcycle was taken to the local dealer twice, where the failure was acknowledged. The dealer contacted the manufacturer, who then contacted BMW of Germany. The contact stated that BMW of Germany diagnosed the motorcycle remotely and informed BMW of America that the brake light would only illuminate at 42 PSI, which was beyond the normal pressure; however, the manufacturer advised the contact that the motorcycle was operating as designed. Additionally, the contact stated that the cruise control mode would disengage when applying significant pressure to the front brake lever. The motorcycle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 300.
