THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR WOULD NOT FULLY LATCH/CLOSE AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS, WHICH PREVENTED ME FORM BEING ABLE TO DRIVE THE CAR. SEVERAL ATTEMPTS WERE MADE BY VIEWING DOOR LATCH TO MAKE SURE THERE WAS NO OBSTRUCTION AND THE LATCH WAS POSITIONED CORRECTLY. THE INSIDE DOOR HANDLE ALSO SEEMED TO BE WORKING FINE. AFTER WAITING ON A TOW TRUCK TO ARRIVE THE DRIVER MANIPULATED THE SAME PIECES I DID, ONE EXCEPTION BEING, HE LET THE WINDOW DOWN, AND THEN PUSHED DOOR CLOSE AND IT LATCHED. I AM NOW SCARED TO DRIVE IT SINCE I DON'T KNOW IF IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN. I DROVE IT TO BARON BMW (SHAWNEE MISSION, KANSAS) AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTING THEY COULD DO UNLESS IT HAPPENED AGAIN/STOPPED WORKING AT WHICH POINT I WOULD NEED TO HAVE IT TOWED. I LATER LEARNED THAT A FRIEND (SIMILAR CAR, JUST A YEAR OR TWO OLDER) HAD THE SAME ISSUE WITH HER RIGHT SIDE PASSENGER DOOR. I CHECKED THE RECALL AND DON'T SEE THAT MY CAR HAS ANY OPEN RECALLS. I CANNOT JUST WAIT TO SEE IF THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN AGAIN AND I DO NEED TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE MY CAR. PLEASE ADVISE. [XXX] [XXX]; [XXX].
