The contact owns a 2022 Audi Q5 E. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V842000 (Electrical System). The vehicle was taken to the dealer where is diagnosed that the software needed to be updated and the charging cable needed to be replaced. The contact stated that the software was updated but the charging cable was not replaced. The contact called the dealer, and it was stated that the dealer had given the replacement cable to another customer. The dealer stated that a replacement charging cable would be mailed to the contact. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. Parts distribution disconnect.
